Jeong Eun-Chan Institute for Unification Education

Jeong is a professor at the Institute for Unification Education under the Ministry of Unification. She graduated from Chong Jun Taek Wonsan University of Economics and Chong Jun Taek Wonsan Graduate School of Economics in North Korea. After having settled in South Korea in 2004, she received a doctoral degree in economics from Kyungpook National University. She taught at Kyungpook National University, Daegu University, Youngnam Theological University and Seminary, and Kyungil University, and served as an affiliated professor of Economics at Kyungpook National University. She is the author of books, including North Korean Economy, Its Marketization and Inequality (Neulpum Plus, June 2019), North Korean Economy, Changes and Opportunities (Neulpum Plus, December 2019), North Korean Economy and Investment Environment in the Kim Jung-un Era (Neulpum Plus, June 2020), and wrote many books in collaboration as well as theses.
